Abstract:
Cogtse Rgyalrong Oral Traditions aims to document the traditional life of the Gyarong Tibetan community. Narrated by native speakers in their mother tongue, the content includes oral stories, ethnic crafts, lifestyle habits, and memories of past lives and individuals. The texts are transcribed phonemically, with annotations provided for each morpheme, specifying lexical meanings and grammatical functions, along with segment translations. The grammatical annotations are based on the editor’s long-term research on the Cogtse dialect of Rgyalrong, accumulated through extensive documentation and analysis, much of which has been published in monographs and academic papers.
